Idaho Wolf Depredation Control Board Meeting

Friends of the Clearwater File Photo

Please come out for a public meeting to show support for gray wolves in Idaho! The controversial Idaho Wolf Depredation Control Board (IWDCB) is discussing how to spend $400,000 (of state taxpayer dollars) earmarked exclusively for killing wolves in Idaho. The IWDCB is a politically appointed body created to kill wolves in Idaho, in addition to the long wolf hunting and trapping seasons. The Idaho Legislature has allocated $1.2 million to the IWDCB over the last three years. Meanwhile, education, health care, highway funding and more continues to be grossly underfunded in the state.

Please contact Suzanne Stone with Defenders of Wildlife if you can make it. Thanks!
