Give a gift to the wild and support Friends of the Clearwater at the 2012 Alternative Giving Market of the Palouse (AGMP). Established in 2009, the AGMP aims to support local non-profits in the greater-Moscow community by providing “a meaningful alternative to holiday gift giving.” FOC is fortunate to have been chosen for the second year in a row to participate in this event and therefore, we have created the following gift descriptions:
- One pack of wolves born in the wild $5.00
- One mile of stream preserved for critical bull trout habitat $10.00
- Work to stop the Upper Lochsa Land Exchange $10.00
- One acre of roadless wildlands protected from development $20.00
- One acre of old growth cedar forest protected from logging $_______
There are multiple opportunities for you to purchase a gift(s) for a friend or loved one. Come on out to the Prichard Art Gallery in Moscow on Wednesday December 5, 4-8pm and buy your gift in person from our outreach table. The Prichard Art Gallery is located at 414 S. Main Street.
You can also attend one of Moscow’s Winter Markets on Saturday December 1, 10-2pm, Thursday December 6, 5-8pm, or Saturday December 8, 10-2pm. The markets are held at the 1912 Center, which is located at 412 E. Third Street.
