Bald Mountain Lake Workshop

Join us for a two day workshop with University of Idaho professor emeritus Dr. Fred Rabe on Bald Mountain Lake in the Weitas Creek roadless area on the Clearwater National Forest. The second day of this workshop will allow us to hike, swim, and explore more of this wondrous sub-alpine lake setting. Participants are responsible for their own food, water, and camping gear.

Friends of the Clearwater will be teaming up with the group Great Old Broads for Wilderness to do some important post-prescribed fire monitoring in Weitas Creek Roadless area on the Clearwater National Forest.

ORV Monitoring

Friends of the Clearwater will be teaming up with the group Great Old Broads for Wilderness to do some important off-road vehicle monitoring in Weitas Creek Roadless area on the Clearwater National Forest. The overnight trip will be a great way to learn about the threats ORV's pose to our public lands and why they should no be permitted to travel in certain areas of the forest.
