Wildlands preservation is important to the majority of Americans, as evidenced by public support of the 2001 Roadless Rule. The benefit of wild places include: clean air, clean water, rich biodiversity, healthy wildlife populations, and a place for spiritual renewal. Journalists in any medium are welcome to participate in FOC.
