Clearwater National Forest Supervisor Tom Reilly and officials from Western Pacific Timber met great opposition Tuesday night as they attempted to sell the Upper Lochsa Land Exchange to Latah locals. Citizens from Latah County were united in their concern and opposition to the proposition. If you attended, "Good on ya, mate!"

May is approaching fast and furiously and as you all know that means huckleberry crepes for all! Well, at least if you attend the Moscow Renaissance Fair (May 2-3) and visit FOC & Palouse Group Sierra Club's food booth. We will once again be serving the best fruit crepes in town and we are looking for your help to sell and serve them. If you have volunteered in the past or are a first-timer please visit the Ren Fair Action Alert link on our homepage and contact us with the two-hour slot that works for you. Also consider joining us to make crepes on April 25 (on our homepage under "Upcoming Events").

This work is on-going as we have plans to integrate state-of-the-art GIS mapping tools and much more to become more effective in displaying issues on the ground to our members and supporters like you, the agencies we work to keep accountable, and the general public. It is a great excuse to do field work in the wonderful Wild Clearwater or do office work or research in a flexible working environment.
