Snowshoe trip to Elk River Falls, this Saturday, Feb.6, 8:00 a.m.

Dear Friends,

Please join Friends of the Clearwater and the Palouse Group of the Sierra Club as we head to Elk River Falls for the day, this Saturday, February 6, 2010. We will meet at the Safeway parking lot in Moscow at 8:00 a.m. and carpool to Elk River Falls.

Please bring appropriate winter weather clothing including boots and snowshoes as well as water and a sack lunch. We will return to Moscow at approximately 4:00 p.m. No dogs, please.

Hyperspud Sports has generously donated snowshoes for participants. Just mention that your are hiking with FOC when you go to pick up snowshoes. Please come prepared if snow levels are two low for snow-shoeing as well. Bring either your regular hiking boots or snow boots as back-up.

As you may have noted, Friends of the Clearwater and the University of Idaho Ecology Club will be hosting Walkin' Jim Stoltz, Monday, March 8, 7:00 p.m. at the 1912 Building in Moscow. We will make an announcement soon when tickets go on sale, but right now we need your help! If you would like to help FOC, the UI Ecology Club, and Walkin' Jim by helping before, during, or after the show please respond to this email and let us know!
