37th Annual Moscow Renaissance Fair Special Issue
Dear Wildland Lovers,
As April showers turn to May flowers, we need to start gearing up for the 37th Annual Moscow Renaissance Fair. The 2 day spring festival will offer live music, delicious foods, and homemade arts & crafts for folks of all ages. The weekend celebration will also allow you the opportunity to sink your teeth into one of our homemade huckleberry crepes!
As usual, Friends of the Clearwater and the Palouse Group of the Sierra Club are teaming up and sharing a booth in Eastcity Park on Saturday May 1st and Sunday May 2nd. We need crepe flippers, berry heaters, servers and money takers to work two-hour shifts from 10 - 8 on Saturday and 10 - 6 on Sunday. No experience needed! We heat crepes and fill them with huckleberries or strawberries. We also sell apple cider.
The crepes will be made this upcoming Saturday, April 24 from 10 am - 2 pm at the Moscow Jr. High kitchen. Again, we need batter mixers, crepe cookers and berry stirrers. If you can help any of these times, you will be helping to raise money to protect our beautiful wildlands and precious wildlife. Please contact Diane Prorak to sign up, at (208) 882-3959 or email her at dprorak@gmail.com.
Early next week I will write some more and fill you in on the latest wildland news. Thank you for your time and support everybody. Hope to see you at Renaissance Fair!
Stay Wild,
Brett
