This place, cherished by those pursuing quiet recreation (hiking, hunting, fishing, birding, photographing, backpacking to name just a few) and essential for anadromous and resident fish and wildlife, is at once sought after for high impact motorized recreation and ignored by state politicians as a priceless roadless area, even as a major portion of this place remains recommended for wilderness designation.
