Join us in welcoming Abner and Afelene, friends of Nancy Casey's from Haiti. They will be sharing with us their reasons for visiting including environmental concerns directly effecting the quality of life in Matenwa, Lagonav, their home. Lagonav is a small island just east of the main island.
We will be viewing "Beyond Borders," a documentary describing the vision of NREPA, and discussing this visionary wildland legislation a potluck dinner. Please bring a friend, a dish, and your favorite beverage.
Sportsmen for Fish & Wildlife are holding an anti-wolf rally to influence federal officials charged with protecting all endangered and threatened species including wolves. If you will be in the area please show up and tell all of your friends.

Moscow rock band, Uniontown, will be playing at the American Legion Hall, Saturday, October 21st, 7:00 p.m. Avery Jaekel and the Friends of the Trees will be opening. Organizers ask that attendees donate $5-7 dollars.
