To contact the forest service outside of official comment periods, use their website. Make sure your comment is respectful and focused. Citing current science and providing personal accounts can help influence agency decisions.

Write a Letter to the Editor

Write a letter to your local paper. Generally under 300 words, these letters help expose the issues of forest preservation to a broader audience.
