Hello everybody! We have two very special events in the coming week that we want you to be aware of. The Friends of the Clearwater Annual Meeting & Gathering is this Saturday November 1, from 6-10pm in the Great Room of the 1912 Center in Moscow. The 1912 Center is located at 412 E. Third Street. Our end-of-the-year-party will include a delicious community potluck, live music, silent auction, awards ceremony, cash bar and more. The event is family-friendly and free and open to the public. Call 208-882-9755 for questions.
The University of Idaho Ecology & Conservation Biology Club and FOC are co-hosting an information session about the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests Revision Plan on Thursday November 6, from 5-7pm in the Fiske Room of the 1912 Center. The public lands social will offer you the opportunity to learn more and submit a public comment about this extensive forest management document. Place-based information on spectacular roadless areas, native species of concern and crucial fish & wildlife habitat will be provided at the event. The public comment deadline is Friday November 14. The event flyer is below.
